Fabricated Actuality is a series of spatial arrangements captured and presented through large-scale photographs. Driven by design and the yearning to unravel my own personal reality these objects come together through how their presence affects me. The large size and oppressive nature reflect this constant bombardment of a contemporary society by creating a recontextualization of form. These objects create their own personal iconography in which meaning can be extracted. This extraction quite possibly is where the viewer can find their own relationship between objects and their purpose in our daily lives. These every day object create relationships that juxtapose time and space. While deconstructing our surroundings we are able construct our own ‘reality’.
